Request Further Information About Training to be a Modern Languages Teacher
If you want to train as a primary or secondary teacher, teaching Modern Languages, we can help.
Make sure you request further information about the National Modern Languages SCITT – a one-year course, training you to be a modern languages teacher. We offer a unique combination of both academic and school-based training at schools across England, with a distinct focus on modern languages. We also help you get your first job in teaching, once you qualify.
Our course provides Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) both of which are nationally and internationally recognised. PGCE will be provided by Sheffield Hallam University and includes 60 credits at level 7 (Masters level) which are transferable.
To support you while you train, you could get a £26k tax-free bursary or scholarship to train as a teacher in 2018/19. Find out more about fees and funding here. We offer advice and support from initial application, through your course, and then as you search for your first job.
If you request further information about our course we will keep you updated with our latest news, as well as advice and tips about applying, as well as any changes to fees and funding.
