Teacher training in Oundle
Oundle School is situated in the quintessentially English market town of Oundle, about 90 miles north of London in Northamptonshire. The school’s buildings, dating from the 17th to the 21st centuries, are dispersed throughout the town, which is, to a large extent, its campus.
There are currently 1110 pupils on roll at Oundle School, with 860 boarders and 250 day pupils.

Meet the Oundle Hub Leader - Geraldine Skinner
Geraldine is a French national with 23 years of experience teaching in the UK. She has been teaching French at Oundle since September 2002 and has been involved with different training programs for the last 10 years, having been a trainee mentor as well as an NQT mentor. Geraldine joined the NML SCITT program 4 years ago as a mentor.
Alongside teaching and her new role as NML SCITT Hub Leader, she leads the Fire and Rescue section of the School Combined Cadet Forces and also coaches swimming.
Outside the school environment, Geraldine enjoys travelling, reading, kayaking, tree-top walking and crafts. Her favourite destinations are Brittany and French Catalonia where she spends most of her summer holidays.
