Humberston is an oversubscribed academy in North East Lincolnshire which has been rated as Outstanding by Ofsted. Meet the Humber & North Lincolnshire Hub Leader - Virginie Barre
For over 20 years, Virginie has taught Modern Languages in large community schools and sixth form colleges in London, leading teams and developing curriculum materials. Before relocating and joining the David Ross Education Trust, she was Deputy Headteacher in a large suburban 11-18 school for ten years. There, she played a role in the school being awarded two Outstanding ratings by Ofsted, and Teaching School status. She has an MA in Comparative Literature from Sorbonne University, Paris, an MFL PGCE from Brunel University, and an NPQH from UCL Institute of Education.
